Mark Mangini

In addition to directing the Choral Society of the Hamptons, Mr. Mangini appears regularly in the New York City area, notably as the Music Director of the Greenwich Village Singers. He is a member of the faculty of Kingsborough Community College and Hunter College, and has also been the Director of Music at Grace Church, Brooklyn Heights and the conductor of the Bach Vespers Series at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in New York City.

Mr. Mangini has prepared choruses for the Hunter Symphony and the Bel Canto Opera and has guest conducted the Hunter College Choir, the Kingsborough Orchestra, the Music at Holy Trinity (Episcopal) chorus and orchestra.

Also a respected private voice teacher, Mr. Mangini is the grandson of the late Alfred A. Scheffer, the East Hampton architect whose public and private residential work can be seen around the South Fork of Long Island. A Manhattanite during the week, he maintains a weekend home in East Marion on the North Fork.
